Strong Roots: Sober Women's Retreat

I am your host, Christy Hughes, author of the sobriety memoir Strong Roots, Wayward Soul. If you are anything like me, sobriety has filled you with a sense of childlike wonder! I'm in awe daily of the beauty Mother Nature provides and am eager to share it with similar souls.

Join me on our twenty-acre hobby farm in celebration of the healing that can found in nature and in sobriety. 

• Even if you are sober-curious, come see how fun a weekend away can be with friendship, laughter and mocktails! 
• To commemorate Earth Day, we will be incorporating nature walks, grounding activities and wildflower pressing.
• Share circles will allow us to be vulnerables about both the struggles and joys that come with a sober lifestyle.
• Join in the FUN of games, campfires and feeding the Dexter cattle herd! 

Sobriety doesn't mean lonely nights sitting at home with FOMO to avoid the bars. It means seeking out NEW adventures with others who have made the same brave choice you have (or might someday soon)!

What to Bring: Texas weather is so unpredictable! Pack layers, hats/hair ties for windy conditions, sunscreen, bug spray, and hiking boots or sneakers (close-toed shoes ONLY on walking paths).
