Retreat to the Country...
Imagine driving down a two-lane country highway deep in the heart of Texas, feeling the stress melt away with every mile.
Turning south onto a dusty dirt road, bumping along until the rustic Farmall tractor comes into view.
Shedding all your worries at the gate as you ease down the winding driveway.
Your tech-free, transformational weekend begins.
Welcome, courage and compassion.
Welcome, serenity and spirituality.
On this holistic healing retreat in Hamilton, TX, just a two hour drive from DFW, Austin and Waco, we will plant the seeds of personal growth and equip you with the tools to help them thrive. While learning, you can enjoy the serenity of our twenty acres, where you will be seen, heard and held by a small intimate circle and Mother Nature herself.
Our 600-square foot barn will be the gathering space for The Brave Kind workshops, yoga classes, and sound therapy. Two 90-minute fun, interactive discussions will focus on courage + compassion, each concluding with movement or sound to fully integrate the lessons.
There will be plenty of free time to wander our 20-acre working hobby farm in Hamilton County, Texas. Bring your camera for beautiful nature photography or your binoculars for birdwatching. Tap into your creative side with wildflower pressing or collage, or try your hand at the roping dummy for a real taste of ranch life!
All meals will be provided on retreat weekends, including locally sourced meats, baked goods and a farm-to-table style dinner. Gather around the campfire for a sweet treat as we roast our own S'mores.
A 400-square foot cabin shell currently being converted into a stylish tiny house. The cottage will feature a queen-size bed and private bathroom with soaker tub.
Our 2000 Fleetwood Mallard travel trailer is as kitschy as it is comfortable. It's been our perfect weekend escape since 2018 and being renovated in April 2022 to serve the next generation of guests.
Three White Duck Regatta tents will be set up for retreat weekends and decked out in true glamper style, with cozy twin mattresses and essential creature comforts.
All lodging is double occupancy, with the two-night retreat experience priced at $499-799 per person depending on accommodations.

"Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can't practice any other virtue consistently."
Courage helps us step out of our comfort zones and live the life we've only pined for in our minds. It helps us minimize the opinions of others and stand up for what we know to be true in our hearts.
"I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples."
Kindness creates connection, an experience the pandemic taught us not to take for granted. Being kind feels like an uphill battle most of the time but imagine the lives you can positively impact through compassionate acts...namely, your own.
