Retreat to the Country...
Imagine cruising down a two-lane country highway deep in the heart of Texas, nothing but rolling hills for miles and miles...
Turning south onto a dusty dirt road in Hamilton County, Texas, bumping along until the rustic Farmall tractor comes into view, a buttermilk sky as the backdrop.
Shedding all your worries at the gate as you ease along the winding driveway, the stress already melting away. Your transformational weekend has begun.
We're just a two hour drive from DFW, Austin and Waco. Come here to plant and nurture the seeds of courage and compassion. Imagine leaving with new sprouts of ideas, friendships, and confidence! While visiting, you can enjoy the serenity of our twenty acres, where you will be seen, heard and held by a small intimate circle of women and Mother Nature herself.
ACTIVITIES
Learn
Our 600-square foot studio will be the gathering space for The Brave Kind workshops, yoga classes, meditation, and sound therapy. Two 90-minute fun, interactive discussions will focus on courage + compassion, each concluding with movement or sound to fully integrate the lessons.
Explore
There will be plenty of free time to wander our 20-acre working hobby farm in Hamilton County, Texas. Bring your camera for beautiful nature photography or your binoculars for birdwatching. Tap into your creative side with wildflower pressing or collage, or try your hand at the roping dummy for a real taste of ranch life!
Nourish
All meals will be provided on retreat weekends, including locally sourced sandwiches, baked goods and a farm-to-table style dinner. Gather around the campfire for a sweet treat as we roast our own S'mores (weather permitting).

WHY COURAGE?
"Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can't practice any other virtue consistently."
-Maya Angelou
Courage helps us step out of our comfort zones and live the life we've only pined for in our minds. It helps us minimize the opinions of others and stand up for what we know to be true in our hearts.
WHY COMPASSION?
"I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples."
-Mother Teresa
Kindness creates connection, an experience the pandemic taught us not to take for granted. Being kind feels like an uphill battle most of the time but imagine the lives you can positively impact through compassionate acts...namely, your own.
