Is your nervous system on overload right now?

Are you craving quiet time in nature to help you ground? 

Join us for the inaugural The Brave Kind: Nourish & Grow restorative weekend. Based upon requests for restorative practices, Saturday will be filled with mindful offerings centered on self-compassion, energy healing, and grounding. All classes are optional, with free time or quiet self-reflection available if you opt for that instead. Part Time Pastures hobby farm has acres of walking trails, beautiful places for meditation, and views for miles. Allow Mother Nature and personal connection to help you on your journey to soul nourishment and healing. Guest instructor Dan Hall will be joining us to cultivate our understanding of restorative yoga and assist with our reiki share circle. 

Tentative Schedule:

Friday - Arrival and Introductions, Light Dinner and Campfire

Saturday - Morning Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Sound Healing, Lunch, Reiki Share Circle, Nature Walk, Evening Meditation, Dinner

Sunday - Morning Meditation, Breakfast, Closing Circle

The retreat includes all meals, made with fresh, local produce and meats (vegetarian friendly upon request), all wellness activities, and a carefully curated gift bag. There will be plenty of free time to explore the property (and maybe even feed the chickens or cows)! Our twenty-acre hobby farm is set deep in the heart of sprawling ranches with just a handful of homes dotting the landscape. Find your escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Return feeling refreshed, renewed, braver, and kinder.

  • Retreat-Glamping Tent

    Single cot in White Duck Outdoor regatta tent. 5" memory foam mattress on Coleman cot. Lamps, fans, rug, and other creature comforts provided. Tents are shared with one other person. If you don't have a buddy coming, no worries! We will play matchmaker for roommates with similar interests. All glamping tents share a composting toilet outhouse. All lodging tickets include the Brave Kind retreat activities, all meals, and gift bag, including an autographed copy of Christy's book.

  • The Mallard Camper

    Stay in the 26' travel trailer that is as kitschy as it is comfortable. Desert-themed, this camper offers a queen bed, futon-style couch, single toilet and shower and kitchenette. You'll have to buddy up but if you are flying solo, no worries! We will play matchmaker for a roommate with similar interests. All lodging tickets include the Brave Kind retreat activities, all meals, and gift bag, including an autographed copy of Christy's book.

  • Retreat - La Adelita Casita

    The most luxurious lodging, the casita is a 384 square foot tiny house finished out by Christy and her husband! It features a queen bed, roll-away cot, kitchenette, and private bathroom with soaker tub. The cottage is double occupancy, but no travel buddy, no problem! We will match you with a like-minded roommate based on interests form. All lodging tickets include the Brave Kind retreat activities, all meals, and gift bag, including an autographed copy of Christy's book.
